so, Sydney City rail has it’s ups and downs (mostly downs, let’s be real here.) but this morning I have come across a positive; the beautiful lady who sat beside me.

I’m currently on my way to a hairdressing, fundamental colour course, which, of course, I was given one day notice for. and I will be the first to admit that when it comes to public transport, my knowledge is limited… so, I kindly asked the lady beside me for her help.

“does this train take me directly to town hall, or do I have to swap at central?”

and instead of the usual ‘ignore her until she stops speaking’ that I usually get, she responded with a:
” oh hello! no love, it’s a direct train. I’m going there too, just follow me.”

I was slightly taken aback. it was rather refreshing to have a person act so polite in such a common situation, and the fact that I was so shocked is kind of sad really.
